Experience Timeline
Contract project management assignment with UCLA’s Strategic Communications team during a time of transition. I led digital project management for several high-profile and timely web and campaign releases.
Since 2008, Jeff has maintained a production shingle to provide first hand start up development and marketing services. He has worked with hundreds of clients on thousands of projects across all media and with all manner of planning. He provides exceptional services including Graphic Design, Print, Web, Mobile and Film products.
Jeff designed a communications and marketing plan to grow client engagement and reduce marketing costs for this Santa Monica based startup. Additionally he made VC introductions that led to a $6 Million investment. His efforts provided extreme return engagement and dramatically increased marketing ROI. The company was acquired by In-House Realty, a sister company of QuickenLoans in 2016.
Jeff was asked to be Studio Director for this mobile application developer in Los Angeles. In addition to client management, he led teams of artists and programmers to develop titles for Hollywood Park, Kabbalah Centers, AmericanGirl, and other clients.
Jeff was brought into improve profitability of this health and wellness organization. Through his efforts which included recrafting the website and elevating all marketing materials, he reversed a negative trend and helped the company to realize substantial new revenues. He led the charge for new product development and community engagement. He launched TheReconnection.com
Jeff led marketing and sales efforts for Sprokkit and helped to raise the company profile to be recognized as the leader in Franchise Sales Marketing. Jeff also provided over watch on numerous client projects that covered the full media array and included highly targeted and crafted campaigns. This included launching websites for Carl’s Jr., Hardee’s, La Salsa, Del Taco, Church’s Chicken, Il Forniao, Gaucho Grill, and many others.
In 2004 Jeff was asked to lead a team of Digital Media Artists, Programmers, and Producers at DMI. Here he led projects for numerous brands, and across a myriad of media including Print, Web, Mobile, and CD-Rom.
Jeff’s experience delivering exceptional automotive related website marketing was tapped by Saatchi & Saatchi for their client Toyota. In addition to overseeing other aspects of production including copy writing and 3d model crafting and photos, he launched websites for Corolla, 4Runner, Prius, and the new FJ series vehicles. Jeff was with Saatchi through 2004.
As a Producer at Chiat\Day in Los Angeles Jeff delivered work for infiniti and adidas.
Jeff was tapped to lead creative design and production of PartsAmerica.com and launch it and it’s partners ecommerce websites. Here he achieved the first “buy online and pickup or have delivered today” experience for tools at over 3,000 After Market automotive stores nationwide. He launched PartsAmerica.com, Kragen.com, CheckerAuto.com, Schucks.com and AdavanceAuto.com.
In 1998, joined the CarsDirect team, he built and led the company’s internal advertising agency and designed the organization’s “online only” advertising plan. Over his two years the company went from nothing to over $3 billion in valuation.
1997 – 98 : Working with idealab! in Pasadena, launched the company MusicNow, Launched MusicNow.com, woodstock.com and FirstLook.com
In 1995 Jeff joined Disney Interactive as a Production Supervisor and Producer where he led the team responsible for concept to completion development of Disney Edu-tainnment Titles. He released “101 Dalmatians Animated Storybook” and “Ready For Math with Winnie the Pooh”.
In the fall of 1993, Jeff was contacted by Debra Streiker-Fine to help her start a multi-media company. They founded “WannaBe Interactive”, later called “Cloud9′. As Creative Director Jeff designed the “Wanna Be” series of edutainment” titles and characters with Mark Fiore, before his Pulitzer Prize and David Koenigsberg after his work on The Ren & Stimpy Show.
At the start of 1993, Jeff joined Crunch Media and released ” A Brief History of Time : CD-Rom : An Interactive Adventure with Stephen W. Hawking”
